• Organ harvesting is a multi-billion dollar industry. Organ procurement companies profit abundantly from people’s organs, while neither the patient nor the family sees a single dime.
• In 2023, a federal bi-partisan bill was signed into law to increase taxpayer funding toward organ procurement oganization and to create greater ease and increase access to people’s organs. Fast forward to July 2025, HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. oversaw an investigation into the organ procurement business and found concerning evidence involving unethical practices.
